A piece that tells a story, a story of the beauty in the garden. The story of how even a small garden you can create your own world full of wonder and discoveries.
All my original artwork holds a piece of my heart, Each piece created slowly and carefully by hand in my Yorkshire studio, inspired by moments held in nature.
Hand painted artwork created using acrylic paint, with fine line pen detailing. Ready framed in a beautiful wooden frame, ready to display in your chosen area.
16.5 × 12.5 inch approx in size, hand painted onto smooth heavyweight paper. This frame is to be hung on the wall only.
Packaging-- All my artwork is very carefully and lovingly wrapped and parcelled to ensure it reaches you in a beautiful way. I use eco friendly options wherever possible, which includes using paper tape and bubble wrap.
Delivery-- All my original artwork comes with free royal mail tracked delivery and all items are sent out within 1-2 working days.

'The life of the bee'

Capturing the life of the bee with each fine line detail.
Inspired by the hard work and importance of the beautiful bumble bee. Words are added using letter stamps and each individual illustration relates to these words. The original artwork was hand drawn on smooth heavyweight paper and then scanned into my computer and turned into prints in my home studio.
All prints are printed on professional high quality Epson matt archival paper, and packaged with eco friendly materials.
All prints are very well packaged to ensure they reach you in the best condition! I use eco friendly packaging materials, bubble wrap and paper tapes.
Prints are available in A4 and A5 size. Please note prints come UNFRAMED!

I’m Lucy, a Yorkshire-based artist creating detailed drawing and paintings, inspired by bees and the beauty of the natural world.
My work is rooted in slowing down and noticing the small details in nature, that are often overlooked- especially the importance of bees in our eco system.
Each piece is created to bring a sense of calm and connection into your home.
One of my favourite quotes is ‘There is no better feeling, than to bring a smile to someone's day' and I hope I achieve this when you look at my work. Each piece comes from the heart to bring joy to those who see it.
