Dancing in the bloom botanical bee print

‘Dancing in the bloom'
Only the sound of nature is needed. Inspired by visits to country gardens around Yorkshire, a soft breeze and some quiet time early in the morning, where only the sound of nature can be heard. The rustling of leaves blowing in the breeze and soft sounds of bird song.

The original artwork was hand painted on smooth heavy weight paper, with fine line pen detailing added, and then scanned in and turned into prints in my home studio.

All prints are printed on professional high quality Epson matt archival paper, and packaged with eco friendly materials.

All prints are very well packaged to ensure they reach you in the best condition! I use eco friendly packaging materials, bubble wrap and paper tapes.

Prints are available in A4 and A5 size. Please note prints come UNFRAMED! Framed images are used for reference only.

My name is Lucy and I am an artist from Yorkshire, England, and I specialise in Botanical fine line artwork.

My signature style is I include bumble bees in all of my work, I have a great love for these creatures and love to spread awareness for their importance, through the pieces I create.

I have always loved to draw from a young age, but I started to share my work after my second baby was born. I created illustrations to decorate my children's bedrooms and found I always gravitate towards flowers and bees.

Each piece I create comes from my imagination inspired through been outside exploring the nature around Yorkshire and beyond.

I am a amateur nature photographer, and these photographs as well and the collection of nature books I own, are all used in creating each piece of art.

I sell my original artwork online and in person events I attend. I create my own prints from these originals, have a collection of greetings cards and a small gift range. I have  recently started commissions for bespoke tattoo designs and wedding stationary.

I love to meet people and attend exhibitions. I have exhibited at many events and fairs across Yorkshire including the RHS gardens Harlow Carr and The Country living magazine.

One of my favourite quotes is ‘There is no better feeling, than to bring a smile to someone's day' and I hope I achieve this when you look at my work.
